Discover our scan services exclusively for researchers, lecturers, and postgraduate doctoral candidates at LMU.
With the University Library's free scanning service, we support researchers, teachers, and postgraduate doctoral candidates in their academic work. All you need is an LMUcard with activated library function or a valid library card.
In order for the Campuslieferdienst (Campus Delivery Service) option to be displayed in online catalog (OPAC), you must first log in to your library account there.
What is delivered and how much?
Journal articles and book chapters from the University Library's holdings that are not available in electronic form at the University Library:
Orders
A separate order is required for each item and each chapter, even if they are from the same source, even if the total number of pages in the order is less than 200. Please use the comments field on the order form for further information.
Historical collections
For literature from before 1900, please contact the Special Collections Department.
Collection
Scans are delivered from stack collection, collections of all subject libraries, the Lernzentrum Leo 13, the Fachbibliothek Rechtswissenschaft (Law Libraries) (except ZAAR), the Bibliothek für Ägyptologie (Library of Egyptology), and the Bibliothek für Klassische Archäologie (Library of Classical Archaeology).

The free scan service for learning platforms and student reserve collections is intended for LMU faculty member. The service is available for literature that is only available in print at the University Library and is not available electronically. Please use the University Library's online form below to place your order.
